I am secretary of Pune City Tamil Sangam, Somwar Peth, Pune. Sangam's membership 156.WE have monthly meetings on First Sunday of the month at 6.30 p.m. Venue : SVU High School,Somwar Peth Pune 411 011. We have 4 social and cultural programs in a year minimum like Tamil New Year Celebrations with either Dramas/plays, Light Musical Program by well known artistsPongal Vizha, Bharatiyar Vizha, Annual Get-together etc.
Membeship Fees : 1.Rs.100/- per couple.Corpus Fund Rs.500/- and Application form Rs.10/-

Hello, just wanted to know if the sangam is doing anything related to how our care and worries for our tamil bretheren in Sri lanka.
Can we atleast take a community effort to pray for them atleast.This is the least we can do as a community.Hearty request if we could understand their grief and atleast mourn amongst ourselves.

My daughter will be going to 9th standard in 2010-2011 Academic year. She doesn't know Hindi (or) Marathi. In such case is there is any school offer Tamil (or) French Language as second language. Please let me know if you have any information.
